Whether you choose to do at the slow methodical way, or to speed the process up, is a decision you will have to make. Before you decide how to do it read this article on shortcuts to building your list.

1. You can buy co-registration leads and have a list of thousands in a very short period of time. This is a legitimate way to build your list and all of the leads that you get are going to be developed for you by the company you purchase the leads from.

The obvious benefit to this is you can have a list much quicker than if you try to build them one at a time yourself. The other benefit is it gives you the opportunity to begin cultivating this list and turning it into a quality list much faster.

2. A proven home business internet marketing method to build your list is through article marketing. Although this will take longer then purchasing co-registration leads, the quality of leads that come from an effective article marketing campaign cannot be disputed.

You can speed the process up here by submitting one article to a submission service and then having them submit it in mass to multiple article directories. For example an article directory website named Submityourarticle will allow you to use a patented program they have called Article Leverage.

This is a quick way to rewrite one article and to submit it to hundreds of directories as a unique article. Of course in your article you want to have a resource box that leads to a place where person can subscribe to your list. This is the most effective way to utilize article marketing to quickly build your list.

3. Building a list through pay per click advertising can be effective as well. The best way to do this is to start a Google Ad words campaign and drive traffic to a landing page where a person can receive something of value for subscribing to your list.

You then pass your subscribers through to an affiliate sales page, to your website, to your blog, or to a presale page where you get them in the mood before sending them through to these other pages.

These are three home business internet marketing shortcuts to building your list that will cost you some time and money. However it allows you to build your Internet marketing business faster which hopefully will make you more profitable sooner as well.

Be Realistic about Preparing Your Home for Sale

When you’re getting ready to sell your home, it’s easy to get carried away in the excitement of trying to get it in its best condition before it hits the market. However, before you get caught up in the “fix-up and upgrade” excitement, it’s wise to first be aware of the things you can change about your home and those over which you have no control. Here are a few ideas about things you can control and those things you can’t.

First, let’s look at the things you can’t change, no matter how much you’d like to. You’ve heard the old adage that the value of a property depends upon three things: location, location, location. Well, it’s true, but like it or not, your home is where it is, and you can’t change that.

The next two things are technically changeable, but if you’re looking to make the most possible money on the sale of your house, you don’t want to change them. I’m talking about the style and size of your home. Both of those factors would cost large sums of money to change, and the chances are that if you were willing to spend that much money to make the necessary changes, you’d just go ahead and remodel your home instead of selling it.

You also can’t change your home’s proximity to various services or shopping centers. Although buyers may consider these factors when looking at your home, they’re not something you can change. If you’re in doubt, refer back to the paragraph on “location.”

The next thing you can’t control is the quality of the schools in your area. You can make a difference in your schools over time by volunteering and working with teachers, but schools won’t change instantly the moment you decide to sell your home, and whether they’re up to standard will be reflected in the value and desirability of your home.

The last thing over which you have no control is your neighbors. You have no choice about who lives to the left and right of your home, or about the neighborhood as a whole.

Preparing Your Home for Sale

On the other hand, there are some relatively inexpensive things you can control to improve your chance of a quick sale. Get your home ready to sell with these tips:

* Spruce up the interior and exterior of your home, cleaning and painting where necessary.

* Price to sell. Make sure your home’s price is within the parameters of the neighborhood by getting competitive market analyses from several real estate agents.

* Select an agent knowledgeable about your area.

There are some things you can do and others you can’t when getting ready to sell your home, but if you recognize the difference, you won’t spend a great deal of money to improve your chances of success. Preparing your home for sale takes work, not a lot of money. Get paid for your work preparing your home when you sell your home.

There has been a revolution over the last five years in the real estate industry. It is called the Internet. Long gone are the days of buyers wasting weekends driving around looking at homes. Now, they sit at their desks and view homes on the Internet. If your home isn’t on the net, there is a good chance a person interested in your home will never find it.

When listing your home for sale, you’ll be able to provide a bevy of information to potential buyers. Essentially, you’ll get to provide everything you would in a typical MLS listing such as bedrooms, bathrooms, garages, appliances, price, square footage, contact information and so on. There is, however, one major advantage to listing on an online real estate site compared to regular MLS listings – photographs.

The key to selling any piece of real estate is curb appeal. Curb appeal is simply the notion that the first view of a home is the key to making a sale. Using online sites, you can create curb appeal that will have a buyer running for the car keys.

Photographs are the key to making this happen. You should only list your home on sites that allow you to upload at least 10 photographs. The photographs should highlight the best aspects of the home as well as unique characteristics a buyer isn’t going to find anywhere else. Buyers drive to homes to get a first impression. They sit in their bathrobe, drink coffee and click away. A buyer who likes what he or she sees in your photographs is already half way to making an offer.
